Telenor and Vip Cell Phone Plans

We have two cell phone plans, we are trying to find which one of the two we will have more of a porfit. We have Telenor and Vip which are two very big cell phone companies through out Europe. We will solve this by using the y=mx+b formula which is also known as the slope intercept formula which is mostly used in order to graph. Vip Telenor Monthly fee: 590 monthly fee: 600 Minutes: 100 Minutes:100 Cost per Minute: 7.9 Cost per minute: 6.0 Putting in an mathamaticall equation y=7.9x+590 y=6.00x+600 7.9x+590=6.00x+600

    You didn't quite finish.

    7.9x+590=6.00x+600
    -6.00x____-6.00x

    1.9x+590=600
    _____-590__-590

    1.9x = 10
    /1.9__/1.9

    So x = 10/1.9 which should be just over 5. What does this mean in words?
